Family Explorers North East
Family Explorers North East is the North East Family Arts Network’s digital project set up in response to research establishing the support families in our region needed to try new cultural venues and genres.
We host a Facebook Group community where thousands of families go to recommend events and ask their peers questions.
We gather feedback from these families and post event recommendations from the members of our network. All members are asked to show their commitment to families by signing up to the Family Arts Standards.
Families also receive a regular e-newsletter and use venue listings on our website.

Can we be friends?
Could you work with us towards the common cause of connecting diverse families with culture?
We are always very happy to partner up with like-minded organisations for joint initiatives, including those outside of the culture sector. We are proud to call fantastic organisations like Disability North, Children North East and the North East Autism Society our friends.
Matching Mystery Visitors with venues, recruiting expert speakers for our sector training events, joint fundraising initiatives and sharing surveys with our community of thousands of families are all ways we have worked with partners in the past.
Together we can achieve wonderful things.
